Wool art in dusty country NSW.
Check the epic moustache work on Ron Barassi and John Newcombe.. No glue. No needle felting. It’s all natural coloured fleece in 2D behind flat glass. Yes!is the answer. Tarndie Woolshop is open at the usual times -10-4 Friday to Monday for all of February. Love to see you🐏 Polwarth sheep in Brazil.

Thanks Instagram for introducing us to @cab.sibipiruna and seeing what a Polwarth sheep farm looks like in another country.
Polwarth ewes and rams were exported to South America in the 1950s where the wetter conditions suited the Polwarth genes.
Over the past 70 years, the flock is widespread through Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina - the name was also tweaked to suit the local conditions - the names “Polwarth” and “Ideal” are interchanged. It would be fascinating to see where the South American wool clip goes. Our gorgeous stables studio retreat is available this weekend after a late cancellation... Get away from the rush and bother - the roses are in bloom and the air is fresh...And don't forget our three nights for the price of two offer is still running... But only till Xmas 🍀book it now at tarndie.com Polwarth has a slight shine to it, referred to as lustre, owing to the genetic input of Lincoln sheep. Here the 4ply Basalt and Verdigris catch a hint of light in the fibres. A bit of spiky biodiversity on the farm. Best to maintain a respectful distance.
