At Tarndie with Jane Milburn

Talk & Workshop with Jane Millburn

Embracing Slow Clothing: sharing knowledge and skills for a more sustainable future

To coincide with the CrossXpollenatioN textile exhibition and Wearable Art and Makers Market in Colac in July, Tarndie is delighted to host one of Australia’s leading textile sustainability and Slow Fashion champions – Jane Milburn from Textile Beat in Brisbane.

Jane’s research and communications have become a touchstone for the growing number of people concerned about the environmental and social impacts of fast fashion. Jane speaks about a manifesto on reducing our impact which provides clearly expressed actions that we can all adopt.

Jane will spend the day at Tarndie in the Ciderhouse, sharing her passion in two parts:

Part 1). A talk in the morning (free admission – registration is required)

Part 2). A hands on workshop in the afternoon.
