The Stables Studio

The Stables Studio

The Stables Studio offers an open, airy, modern fitout within the former horse stables originally built around 1905.

A smart design blending heritage and contemporary, pastoral and crafted.

On the ground floor is a full kitchen, dining and lounge and large bathroom.

In the loft upstairs is the queen size bedroom with an adjacent retreat area perfect for writing, reading, yoga and meditation.

A large oak tree at the front door provides a shady spot to admire the long views across grassy paddocks and grazing sheep.

The Stables Studio is within the heritage listed grounds of Tarndwarncoort – a woolgrowing farm that is still run by the same family that settled here in 1840. There is a story everywhere you turn.

A perfect space for 1 or 2 people to take in a country retreat without giving up the comforts of modern life. A light filled double level space featuring textile art pieces, natural materials and the simple luxury of quiet space surrounded by trees, sheep and even an old stone ruin.

The is a queen bed upstairs with views from bed across the paddocks.

Outdoor firepit. Wifi. Books. Access to orchards, vegie garden and woolcraft studio and workspaces.
