Visit

Visit Tarndie Heritage Sheep Farm and discover a long Australian story all to do with sheep.

Open every Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm visitors will find:

  • Farmgate Woolshop
  • Studio Café
  • Farm Walk
  • Ciderhouse Gallery

Uncover bespoke yarns in the Woolshop – naturally coloured and hand-dyed yarns made with 100% Polwarth wool grown on the farm and turned into felting tops and yarn for craft.

Relax over a great coffee in the Courtyard, or in the newly refurbished Studio Café in the deep armchairs with a newspaper, craft magazine or bring your own project to work on! Serving great local coffee and sweet treats.

Take a self-guided ramble around the Farm Walk and see how a working sheep farm operates, and find glimpes into the Homestead’s past. (40mins – $5.00)

In the subterranean 1860’s former apple cider house, visitors will discover a revolving collection of artworks (both for sale and display) related to pastoral industries.   Keep up to date with what is showing in the gallery by signing up to our newsletter.

Saturday & Sunday, from 10am – 4pm.

    • Hi Ashleigh,
You do hold weddings at the Homestead. We can handle reception, photographs and ceremony in the Gardens and on the Verandah. If you’d like some further detail, please email info@tarndie.com with number of guests and if it is ceremony only, or reception too, and I can give you some indicative costs.

      Many thanks,
      Tom Dennis
