Canberra Wool Expo 2023

Wool is timelessly popular. Just ask the many craftspeople from Canberra, the region and interstate who come to create, demonstrate and sell this most fabulous of fibres. It’s a great time to meet and speak with wool producers, craftspeople and artists. See a range of demonstrations from hand-spinning to weaving.

Watch out for Hephner the Alpaca and his Llama friends as well as demonstrations to showcase the how the lovely products on display are made. 

If it can be created in wool, you may just find it at the markets. Browse and buy hand felted garments and accessories, designer knitwear, weaving, funky beanies and farm label knitwear. There’s also a vast array of woolen yarns, including hand spun and hand dyed yarns.
