WORKSHOP TERMS & CONDITIONS

We understand that things happen and sometimes you are unable to attend a class. However, in order to cover our teacher and class costs, please be aware of the following when booking your class.

CONFIRMATION

Your booking is confirmed when we have received your full payment.

ARRIVAL TIME

Please arrive within 10 minutes before the nominated arrival time. Prior to the workshop we will be busy around the Homestead and with last minute preparations. If you are quite early you may like to spend some time in Birregurra - we are only 5 minutes away.

RUNNING LATE

Sometimes unexpected things happen so, if you are running late please text us on 0480 080 248 (text only number) with the time you expect to arrive - we will do our best to help you catch up.

CANCELLATIONS

You can cancel prior to 4 calendar weeks before the workshop date. There will be no charge and we will make a full refund.

If you cancel between 4 calendar weeks and 10 days before the workshop date, will receive a refund of 50%.

If you cancel within 10 days prior to the workshop you are not eligible for a refund.

TRANSFER

If you become unable to participate in the workshop, you are welcome to transfer your spot to someone else. To do so, please call Tarndwarncoort on 0480 080 248 or email events@tarndie.com with the new participants contact details.

TOTAL FIRE BAN

In the event a Total Fire Ban has been declared for the South West Fire District on the day (usually notified by 4:00pm the previous day) the workshop may be rescheduled (generally for 7 days later). We will notify you by email if rescheduling the workshop by 6:00pm of the day prior to the workshop.

CHILDREN

There is no charge for children under 16 to accompany attendees provided they do not inconvenience other paying attendees by taking limited seating or creating a disturbance. There are no child-minding facilities and children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

SMOKING

Smoking is only permitted in the car park.

DOGS AND OTHER PETS

Sorry, no pets allowed!

CLOTHING

Workshops often include walks to various parts of the farm. Please wear footwear suitable for walking over rough ground and in unmown grass. Waterproof footwear and clothing may be necessary in the event of rain. Wear a hat for sun protection and bring your own water.

PHOTOGRAPHS

Photographs of details related to the subject of the workshop are welcome.

NOTE-TAKING

Please bring your own note-taking materials.

CANCELLATION OF WORKSHOP

In the event of insufficient bookings or illness or other serious unforeseen circumstance we may elect to cancel a workshop. We will endeavour to give at least 5 days notice and refund payments in full.
