Dotty Spotty Blanket Fun

Shelley Husband has created an exploration of the classic circle-to-square granny square crochet pattern to make a simple but effective blanket.

Using the Dotty Spotty Blanket patterns, in this class Shelley will teach you all you need to know to make your own Dotty Spotty Blanket.

We will cover all the basics like reading the patterns, how to change colour and how to join your squares.

The Dotty Spotty pattern will become a staple in your crochet repertoire as the perfect baby gift.

Skills needed: Can confidently crochet a traditional granny square and have looked at written patterns before

Saturday 15 April - 9:30am to 12:30pm at Tarndwarncoort - $95

What to bring:

• solid coloured yarn (any weight or fibre) in 2 colours – 1 ball each

• hook size to suit yarn (eg 8 ply & a 4 or 4.5 mm hook)

• scissors & yarn needle

• crochet stitch markers

If you would like to make a start on the blanket in class, you can purchase all the yarn you will need for a baby sized blanket. The above yarn needs are for practicing only.
