Knit Kit - Birre Beanie
“Birre” is a fitted unisex beanie knit in the round designed by Briony Mannering.
This kit is a perfect step into colourwork for those who have knitted a few things already, but looking for a small challenge.
Birre starts at the brim, and works up to the crown with a simple colour work motif between the colour transitions. For this pattern you will need to know how to work small circumferences in the round and basic colourwork. There are some useful links to help do this included in the pattern.
Sizes: Child (48cm), Small Adult (54cm), Large Adult (60cm)
The kit contains:
Printed pattern with code to include online in Ravelry account. Pattern includes both a standard beanie and a slouchy beanie style.
8ply / DK yarn to make either a standard or a slouchy beanie.
80gm Natural Manna Gum (grey/brown)
30gm Grassy Green (green)
10gm Lime Mortar (pale grey)
Pattern written for 3 sizes - child, small adult, large adult.
(needles not included, but pattern requires 3.5mm and 4mm circular needles)
